Low Key Eevening

It is 11 PM and I still have tons of energy and not ready for bed.. I am wondering if it’s because of the afternoon nap!?  I made Turnip Soup, honestly I didn’t know what to call it, but since the Turnips from the Farmer’s Market were the inspiration for the soup I decided the name fits.

The soup was really good and perfect for a day like today; Cold and Rainy!

I am getting excited about the holidays.  I am looking forward to going to MA for Thanksgiving and visiting with my family and having some wonderful homemade food and am equally looking forward to our drive to WV for Christmas.  The last time we were in WV was October 2008 for the WVU-Auburn game.   This is an extra special trip, because we will be celebrating Raymond’s 30th Birthday at Snowshoe where we got married 2 years ago.  You can see some of our pics from our wedding HERE
