After being on the road for two days we are finally home and it is great to be home. I have unpacked and started laundry. Our drive was uneventful. We made it to Tuscaloosa, AL yesterday around 8 PM and drove the rest of the way today. We are lucky to have a perfect passenger. Sadie [...] Thank you so much for your well travel notes. We made it into TN. As we left this morning Raymond’s parents told us that they have lost power and don’t have heat since Friday 9 PM. We just spoke to them and they still don’t have any power, which mean tomorrow morning we will [...] Country roads here we come! We are packed to go on our 2 day drive for Houston TX to Logan WV. “It’s hard to say whether West Virginia will have a white Christmas, but it seem a certainty the Mountain State will have a white weekend before Christmas. It could end up being the [...] Birthdays are my ABSOLUTE favorite. I want it all on my birthday.. the cake, the card, the fab present and a day celebrating me. Raymond has done a wonderful job of having it all on my birthday, from the cake or cupcakes to the fab present and the sweetest cards ever. Well [...] We are back in Houston and back to work. I can’t believe today is the last day of November and we only have 31 days to 2010. The lack of sleep on Friday and yesterday due to shopping and our early flight and also letting go of my routine on bothFriday and Saturday really messed with [...] We landed in Boston Logan Airport last night at 11:15 PM and by the time we picked up our rental car and drove to my parents house it was passed midnight. We make this trip every Thanksgiving, but for some strange reason this year as we drove through the Sumner Tunnel I got a homesickness [...] We are back from our amazing trip to France & Holland. It was a great vacation as Raymond and I needed a proper vacation with just the two of us. We left Houston on Thursday October 8th at 3:05 PM and arrived in Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport on Friday morning at [...] I am super exhausted and we haven’t even started our long journey to Strasbourg. Unfortunately we some how always end up packing the night before we travel and as a result we go to bed, get up early and start our journey tired. I have been reading online as how to best deal with time change [...] We are almost there! Raymond and I are leaving for our 2 weeks vacation in Europe on Thursday Our first stop is Strasbourg France, where we will be visiting with my cousins for 3 days. We then leave for Paris, and will spend 4 days and 5 nights in Paris, from there we [...] |
