After being on the road for two days we are finally home and it is great to be home. I have unpacked and started laundry. Our drive was uneventful. We made it to Tuscaloosa, AL yesterday around 8 PM and drove the rest of the way today. We are lucky to have a perfect passenger. Sadie [...] Thank you so much for your well travel notes. We made it into TN. As we left this morning Raymond’s parents told us that they have lost power and don’t have heat since Friday 9 PM. We just spoke to them and they still don’t have any power, which mean tomorrow morning we will [...] Birthdays are my ABSOLUTE favorite. I want it all on my birthday.. the cake, the card, the fab present and a day celebrating me. Raymond has done a wonderful job of having it all on my birthday, from the cake or cupcakes to the fab present and the sweetest cards ever. Well [...] It has been a busy weekend in the Chafin household. This is our last weekend in Houston and are making the 22 hr drive from Houston TX to Logan WV next Saturday, which means our to do list is just way too long. First off, I got a call from the Gasterologist regarding my blood work. [...] We are back in Houston and back to work. I can’t believe today is the last day of November and we only have 31 days to 2010. The lack of sleep on Friday and yesterday due to shopping and our early flight and also letting go of my routine on bothFriday and Saturday really messed with [...] I got home from work early to spend a bit more time with mom since she is leaving early tomorrow AM. I really appreciate her keeping me company while Raymond is on his business trip. We went on a longer walk and Sadie loved it. After our walk we ran over to Central Market to pick up [...] We got an extra hour today… Don’t you love daylight savings… well when you get an extra hour your day off. We got up and had a glass of Green Juice Mom and I made Black Sesame Jam… and it is AWESOME, so once we were finished with the jam, I decided to have [...] I bought a watch yesterday… so no more asking the time from others or constantly checking my cell phone to see what time it is… I lost my watch two years ago during the week of our wedding or our honeymoon. I took it off once we got to Snowshoe, where we got married, and [...] |
