Merry Christmas! We have electricity back, which means we get to have the full Christmas dinner, YAY! It is raining here and it is supposed to snow later in the afternoon. Santa was really good to me this morning, I got everything on my list plus some I guess I was nice this year.
Thank you so much for your well travel notes. We made it into TN. As we left this morning Raymond’s parents told us that they have lost power and don’t have heat since Friday 9 PM. We just spoke to them and they still don’t have any power, which mean tomorrow morning we will [...] Country roads here we come! We are packed to go on our 2 day drive for Houston TX to Logan WV. “It’s hard to say whether West Virginia will have a white Christmas, but it seem a certainty the Mountain State will have a white weekend before Christmas. It could end up being the [...] We, the Chafins, have had a wonderful day today. After our late breakfast we finished cleaning the house, mainly the master bedroom and bath. I love a clean house. It is wonderful when you get up and walk out of your room and the house is spotless. Even Sadie’s monkey got a wash.
This morning after I wrote my post I decided to go back to bed and cuddle a bit longer with Raymond. We slept in until 9:30, which is not normal for us. We got up showered and dressed and decided as what we should do for the day. Walked down stairs and the first [...] |
